| Physical Description | Tall, dark and handsome best describes Ivan. His long, glossy black hair hangs straight down to his shoulders. Most the time Ivan keeps it pulled back in a pony tail. His face is thin, with high cheek bones and a defined brow. His almost silver blue eyes always seem to have a twinkle in them, and his constant smirk gives you the feeling that Ivan might be up to no good. Ivan's frame is slender. More like a rock climbers build then a body builder. Ivan's complexion is slightly olive, giving the hint that his lineage is of the western European variety. |

He grew up on a small farm on earth and learned of his love of flying at a very young age while flying the crop dusters. He was always in trouble with his father for showing off while working. | Hobbies & Interests | When Ivan is not scaring the hell out of his crew with his daring antics behind the ship controls, he enjoys rock climbing and going out to what ever local bar is available to him to party it up. He has also been known to climb behind the wheel of just about anything that will go fast, preferring a motorcycle over an enclosed car. |
| Personal History | Ivan was an only child, born to his parents Megan and Randy Dash. He grew up on a small potato farm in Idaho. At a young age he began helping his father in the fields after school and by 10 he was driving some of the farm equipment. Ivan always loved driving the haulers and plowers, but that was nothing compared to the love he would feel flying. On his 12 birthday, Randy let Ivan take the controls of one of the crop duster shuttles. Ivan fell in love and wanted nothing more then to live his life flying. He quickly got the hang of the basic controls and as soon as his father let him fly alone, Ivan started testing himself with more advanced moves. For the rest of his time on the farm Ivan was always in trouble for his crazy flying or fast driving. Ivan was never very good at following orders so his punishments were never really a big deal in his mind. Randy was very disappointed to learn that his son had enlisted in Star Fleet the very day he was old enough to, but was not surprised. Ivan had the brains and the ability to be a top student in his class, but not the drive. Ivan spent most of his time at the academy goofing and sleeping around. The only thing he ever got top marks on was his actual flights. Top times and scores always, he even broke the speed record by an impressive 2 seconds and got top scores in his fighter test by 2 kills. This reason alone is the only reason he did not get kicked out due to low grades in his other classes and constant trouble. Ivan is always saying that the only real thing he learned at the academy was how to say things under his breath so his teachers would not his his smart comments. |

| Service Record | Ivan was placed right out of school with the USS Excalibur. He was assigned the Helm control on Gamma shift. His favorite thing to do was to pick up girls in the lounge and sneak them onto the bridge during his shift when the other crew were busy with other tasks. Somehow, he never got caught doing this. He actually did a good job on the ship and during a few tense missions got to show the captain some moves. It was because of this that he was able to put in his request for promotion and transfer as the new Chief Flight Control Officer aboard the USS Black Hawk and got it approved. Now the questions is, as a member of the bridge crew can Ivan keep his nose clean and his mouth shut. |
