Mission: Crossing Over
Location: Holodeck
Timeline: Backpost

After his encounter at Talons, Arjin headed towards his room to change. He chose his dark blue Starfleet sportsgear to wear. A relatively short sportsbrief ending halfway his thighs. And a thight sleeveless shirt.

He put on a training jacket over it for his walk towards the Holodeck. He had needed to pull some strings to get acces this quick. But he would make it up to the person whose time he had usurped.

He entered the room with its well known grid display. "Computer load program Djinx Delta 6 4 Pi."

As the computer complied, the room made way for an outdoor view. He stood on the edge of a cliff overlooking a big lake. Surrounded by trees. A path leading further around the lake. Winding and going up and down. Arjin inhaled the fresh air and enjoyed the sight of the gas giant that iluminated the night's sky.

Losing his jacket he started to warm up whilst waiting for the counselor.

Attired in a light blue tank top and a pair of beige gym shorts, Lieutenant Jarith Roshe headed for the holodeck. He hesitated outside the doors to it, sensing the being who was inside. Arjin Djinx had beautiful thoughts. Waiting no longer, Jarith stepped inside.

Arjin was standing over a cliff with a gorgeous lake before him. The gas giant in the background highlighted the Trill Commander's form which was nice and fit. Jarith wanted to call out to him, but what should he call him? Commander? Arjin? Finally, he decided.

"Arjin..." he called out allowing his voice to trail off.

As he heard his name being called, he turned to see the young Lieutenant had entered the deck and was ready to run together with him. It had been too long since he had tested his fitness against another person. His eyes twinkled as he took in the sight of his running partner.

"Ah Counselor. You made it. Welcome. I hope you will enjoy our run. Better warm up before we start."

Jarith smiled a warm smile. "Glad to join you," said he. "And it is Jarith. No need to salute in here, Arjin."

As suggested, they started the warm-up exercises by joggin in place. Beads of perspiration formed on Jarith's brow and he wiped it away with a towel around his neck.

After about ten minutes of warm-up exercise, Jarith suggested, "Ready? Go!" He was off like a shot, but he could see that Arjin was a powerful being. He caught up in no time.

"Ready and Go!", he thought. "You forget this is my program and I am used to this track."

Arjin sped off and concentrated on his trajectory. After a short time he caught up with Jarith. He could have overtaken him, but decided to adjust his pace and run behind the counselor for a while. Taking in the great view of the surrounding and the strong man before him. He adjusted his breathing to the pace and felt his mind becoming tranquil.

Jarith could sense Arjin in his mind. He was letting him win. Did he like the view? With a burst of speed, Jarith pulled forward.

"Catch me if you can," he flirted by projecting his thoughts.

Arjin raised his eyebrows as he heard the thoughts of the young Lieutenant. Then in a second he was way behind again. It seemed Counselor Roshe kept himself quite fit indeed. So he had no choice but to pick up the pace himself. It took him longer and quite some sweat to catch up and this time overtake the Betazoid.
When he surpassed him, Arjin just turned back his head with a smile.

"Your on.", he said. This time going in overdrive himself.

Jarith was not surprised. Arjin was a well-built man. His muscles bulged beneath the gym clothes he had on and Jarith realized, with little surprise, he wanted to see him without them on.

Sweat trickled down Jarith's torso, staining his tank top. So Jarith ripped it off over his head and he tossed it aside and ran the rest of the run bare-chested. No matter what he did, he could not catch-up with the Trill Chief of Science.

"Slow down," he finally complained with a laugh. "I believe you are the better runner."

Arjin smiled and slowed down his pace. Happy to be able to, because he had already reached his limit. Still he did not want it to show.

"I may be. But yor not doing too bad yourself.", he replied. Enjoying the landscape even more today than he did before. It was nice to have someone to be running with. And it did not hurt that it was a handsome running partner either.

Jarith caught up with the Trill. "Thanks," he said greatfully. He clamped a hand on Arjin's left shoulder with is right hand and squeezed it.

Arjin was startled by the unexpected physical contact. But it wasn't Unwelcome.
Let's do the rest of way in a more relaxed fashion, shal we?", he asked.

"Sure," said Jarith whose muscles in his long legs began to cramp a little. "What do you say we jog the rest of the way back?"

"Sure, but I'm not jogging back uphill. Let's continue downwards towards the lake. We can clen the sweat off by diving into it."

Jarith smiled. "You're on," said he. "The cool water will be refreshing after that run."

They jogged down the slope in tandem, circling around to the lake. Quickly, Jarith stripped down to his skivvies. "Last one in is a rotten egg," he yelled as he dove into the cool waters of the lake.

Arjin smiled as he watched the young man launch himself and at his words. He had witnessed plenty of such moments in Djinx long life.
Taking off his shirt and flexing his muscles he walked over and enthered the lake calmly. Taking a freestyle he swam a short while to cool down and let his muscles relax and enjoy the water.
Looking up to the sky and the rings above hil, he felt calm and serene.

Jarith felt serene as well as Arjin's thoughts entered his mind. So did Djinx's which were just as calm. Jarith couldn't help but swim over to this hot and sexy man and plant a gentle kiss on his cheek. "What," said Jarith to Arjin through telepathy, "if I were to meld my mind with yours?"

Thinking of his sessions with Ieuan, Arjin was not yet ready for this. So he replied calmly: "I prefer not to."
He did reciprocate the kiss however.

Jarith blinked back in surprise. "I thought," he choked on his words just a little, "you were ready." Lowering the gaze of his pupils, he added, "I'm sorry. We Betazoids are of a highly sexual nature and I think I allowed emotions to get in the way." He lifted his gaze once more to stare into Arjin's eyes.

"you need not apologise. You could not know. And yes I know Betazoids and their nature.", he added with a smile. "Besides there are other things we can enjoy besides mind melts." He kissed Jarith again. Before pushing his shoulders down making him disappear under water. Then he swam a small end watching the Lieutenant come up for air again. He grinned with pleasure. Having found someone he could loosen up with.

Jarith spluttered. "What the...?" Then he laughed.

swimming over to Djinx, the Betazoid kissed the Trill again. "Silly man," he said.

"I know.", was all he said.
